HomeStart, Prevost Construction Break Ground on Maternity Shelter in San Diego

HomeAid San Diego joined HomeStart, Inc. and Prevost Construction on Feb. 22 in San Diego for a groundbreaking ceremony as construction kicks off for a new Maternity Shelter. This is the fourth project HomeAid San Diego has assisted HomeStart, Inc. with over the years.

HomeAid SD provides project management, in-kind donations and discounted materials and labor so that HomeStart can focus their time and money on their core mission. Once completed, this maternity shelter will be home to 5 mothers with children who otherwise would be homeless.

Stay tuned over the coming months as this property transforms into a safe haven for families in need.
